Banana Nut Bread VT

This banana nut bread is a recipe my mother found when bringing treats to ladies she visits monthly. It has quickly become an addiction to anyone who tries it!

4 Very ripe bananas mashed
1/2 C cooking oil
1 1/4 C sugar
1tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 Cup chopped nuts (pecans or english walnuts)
1/2 C oatmeal (quick cooking)
2 C self rising flour

Mix and pour into 2 loaf pans or bundt pan greased and floured.
Bake at 325 degrees 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes
cool 10 minutes before removing from pans
